"The Sphere, man, that's crazy," Zac Brown shared enthusiastically. "It's the greatest canvas that's ever been created so far, and to get to be one of the first bands that goes in there to do it, this is our masterpiece, man."

The MSG Sphere, with its 16k resolution screen, haptic seats, and immersive audio system, provides a unique platform for artists to push the boundaries of their performances. The venue can even generate wind and scents, adding to the multi-sensory experience.

"I've got a team put together for this thing, and it's going to be the best, the biggest spectacle we've ever done," said Brown. "This puts us in another league."

Fans can expect a dynamic blend of music, visuals, and physical sensations. "When you're watching the sunrise in there and they have a wind generator, you feel the wind on your face... it's the first thing that's been created on that scale," Brown explained.

Zac Brown Band is leaving no stone unturned, dedicating over a year to perfecting every detail of the residency. From recording a 40-piece orchestra to incorporating acrobats and dancers, the band is pulling out all the stops.

"This is really our first thing that I'm putting a year plus of work into making one show," Brown revealed. "I want to make something where you go and see this thing and you leave there and you go, 'What just happened?'"

For Zac Brown Band, this residency isn't just about entertaining—it's about pushing the envelope and redefining what a live music experience can be. The band aims to create a show that's a roller coaster of emotions, blending moments of discomfort with beautiful releases.

"It's not just going to be like this American celebration thing," Brown said. "It's going to be making people uncomfortable and then releasing that, having this series of roller coaster moments."

Opened in September 2023, the MSG Sphere has set a new benchmark in the entertainment industry. The experience inside is next-level, featuring a screen that spans the entire ceiling, haptic seats, and a sound system that delivers different audio tracks to each seat. The Sphere can even generate wind and scents, making the audience feel like they're part of the movie or performance.

The Sphere's exterior, known as the Exosphere, is the biggest screen in the world, designed by SACO, the company behind the media facade on the Burj Khalifa. The Exosphere is 3.5 times bigger than the screen inside, covered in 1.2 million individual lights, each about the size of a hockey puck. These lights function like the individual pixels on a TV, creating a sharp image when viewed from a distance.

Inside, the Sphere boasts the highest resolution screen in the world with 256 million pixels. The screen curves over and around the audience, providing an immersive visual experience. This giant screen is paired with an advanced sound system designed by German engineers Holoplot, featuring 167,000 speakers that can send targeted sound to every seat.

With the residency set for 2025, anticipation is building. Zac Brown Band fans and music enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting what promises to be a historic event. "The goal is for our band to just keep going, man, to be like the Rolling Stones or the Grateful Dead," Brown stated. "This is our masterpiece."
